The Search For The Perfect Desktop Picture
Finding just the right desktop picture can be an imposing task. As is the case with decorations for your wall, or all other types of decorations, there are few desktop pictures that do not get boring after a while. Although it is easy to get a new picture for your computer desktop when you get bored of the old one, if you are like me than this simply will not do as a solution. The fact is that I have been driven ceaselessly in the search for the perfect desktop picture, a search which I now believe may be, thankfully, coming to an end.
Getting the perfect desktop picture was not always my obsession. When I first got my all new, super powerful desktop computer, I just stuck whatever junk I could find up on the computer desktop. Many times, I even enjoyed just leaving it blank, as whatever I put up there would just irk me, and I did not have time to spend my days searching for a desktop picture which was sufficient to please my jaded palate. But, as time went on, I found my search for the perfect desktop wallpaper consuming more and more of my waking hours. Pictures of sandy beaches and ocean waves would dominate my computer screen for one week and then, the very next week, suddenly it would be something quite different. Cuddly bunnies would vie for my attention as I searched ceaselessly for the most perfectly adorable desktop picture which I could find. But alas, it was never enough, and perfection still continued to elude my efforts.
Suddenly, in a moment of inspiration, I realized that I had been going about my long and tiring desktop picture search in entirely the wrong manner. Rather than look about for desktop pictures on the internet as I had been doing, I would do much better to create my own images. Armed with my brand new digital camera, acquired for just that purpose, and a almost new copy of Photoshop, I went out to capture the perfect desktop picture. At first I snapped almost randomly, and uploaded them onto my computer haphazardly, but finally, I knew what I wanted. There was no desktop picture that pleased me more than an image of a freeway underpass, with its stark, imposing beauty. Although I have yet to find the perfect one, I can safely say that my quest is now nearly at its end, and I will emerge triumphant.
